Quick overview of the wedding day:
Church ceremony
Holy mass will be held in the Church of Mary, Help of Christians in the south of Ljubljana at 1:30 p.m.
Civil ceremony
Civil ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. in Walnut grove in the north of Ljubljana.
Reception
Good food and dancing to follow after the civil ceremony at the same location. Until the morning!
Church ceremony
We will be receiving the sacrament of holy matrimony at the holy mass at 1:30 PM in the Church of Mary, Help of Christians in Rakovnik, which is a Salesian parish in the south of Ljubljana. This church was also announced as one of the holy year churches.

After the ceremony we will do a quick group photo to commemorate all the guests that came to celebrate our marriage and then enjoy some refreshments and finger food next to the church.
Parking is available around the church. It is permitted in the drawn blue area below within the marked spaces.
The location can also be reached by public transport. Bus lines of LPP (Ljubljana's Passenger Traffic) 3, 3B, N3 and N3B stop at the station called Rakovnik.
A little after five we move to the next destination.
Civil ceremony
In Slovenia for a marriage to be valid before the state, a church ceremony isn't sufficient. The marriage must be legally formalized through a brief civil ceremony. This will take place in a beautiful venue called Walnut grove in the north of Ljubljana at 5 p.m.
Parking is arranged on part of the venue, marked on the picture.
The staff at the venue advises that you do not leave anything valuable in your car, as they have unfortunately had cases of cars being broken into during events. If you need to leave your car on the venue overnight, you can leave it, just make sure it's parked behind the fence and does not disturb the staff the next day.
Reception
After the civil ceremony, we toast to love, and a cold appetizer will be served.
The newlyweds will take a few more photos in the beautiful evening light; the rest will start the celebration until the early hours of the morning!
The reception will take place outdoors under a covered area.

For precise planning of the event itself, from seating to pieces of cake, we kindly ask you to confirm your attendance or to inform us that - God forbid - you cannot come.
